What you get

• Character count with and without spaces
• UTF-8 bytes and EUC-KR bytes side by side (Korean employers ask for either)
• Word count, line count, and 200-character manuscript-page count
• An optional limit that colors how many characters you have left

Being upfront

The byte rule is set by whichever form is collecting your text, not by us. We show both UTF-8 and EUC-KR so you can match whatever the posting asks for. Characters that EUC-KR cannot represent (emoji, a handful of rare Hangul syllables) are counted honestly as unsupported rather than guessed at. Why byte rules differ between companies

Features we'd build if there's demand

These features don't exist yet. They'd need a server or an account, so instead of unlimited use we'd open them as pay-as-you-go. Tap one if you'd use it; we only count that you tapped.

Where your text goes

Pasted text is counted only inside this browser tab and never sent to a server. The server only ever receives which step you reached, and there is no account.
